Register now to carry out awareness-raising actions about sustainable resource and waste management this November.
The Waste and Resources Action Programme Northern Ireland (WRAP NI) and ACR+ are encouraging local businesses to get involved in European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) 2025, taking place from 22 to 30 November.
EWWR is the biggest campaign to raise awareness about waste prevention in Europe. The goal of EWWR is for businesses and others to organise and carry out actions on waste prevention, reuse or recycling, aiming to inform as many people as possible.
This year’s focus is on raising awareness on reduce, repair and reuse activities for electric and electronic equipment. However any action on waste can be conducted and recorded in EWWR.
Online support is available for participating businesses, including
- ideas for actions
- communications resources
- toolkits for taking action
As well as your business and project being listed on the EWWR website, you can also enter the EWWR Awards, which reward the most outstanding actions carried out each year.
Find out more about European Week for Waste Reduction 2025 and register now.
Registration for actions will close on Sunday 9 November 2025.
