Apply now for up to £100,000 funding to speed up digital twin adoption
The Digital Twin Adoption Accelerator, delivered by Digital Catapult and funded by the Belfast Region City Deal and Innovate UK, is a seven-month programme designed to help businesses
- test and develop digital twin technologies
- overcome barriers to adoption
- bring solutions closer to market
It specifically targets maritime, aerospace, and defence sectors, since this is where digital twins can unlock major efficiencies, resilience and innovation.
The programme is open to pre-formed partnerships between
- small and medium-sized businesses working in six enabling technologies areas that underpin digital twins
- cyber physical systems
- data services
- security
- immersive and user experience interfaces
- artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, simulation and modelling
- integration and interoperability
- industry adopters in the maritime, aerospace or defence sectors looking to overcome barriers in their digital twin journey
Selected partnerships will benefit from
- grant funding of up to £100,000 from Innovate UK
- specialist support, workshops and one-to-one mentoring
- access to industry leaders and test environments
- guidance from Digital Catapult’s innovation and technology teams
- mentorship from the UK Digital Twin Centre industry partners
- an end-of-programme showcase to government, investors, and industry
The support will focus on adoption challenges, building proofs-of-concept, and increasing technology readiness levels.
