Innovate UK is accepting applications for up to eight innovative small and medium-sized businesses to join their Global Incubator Programme (GIP) with Agrifood Futures in Singapore.
This opportunity is open to businesses developing the next generation of innovative food and beverage products.
Applications could focus on, but are not limited to
- plant-based foods and drinks
- precision fermentation and cultivated products – eg protein, fats and lipids
- algal, bacterial and fungal derived proteins, biopolymers, pigments and bioactives
- novel ingredients to improve the quality and functionality of innovative food products
- hybrid protein products to create novel high-functionality foods
Singapore is a recognised leader in this segment of the agrifood sector, with a forward-thinking innovation and regulatory ecosystem that has enabled novel food products like cultivated meat to get to market as a global first.
By joining the programme, you’ll get hands-on support to prepare, explore and scale in a new market. You’ll work with Innovate UK specialists and incubator partners to sharpen your strategy, refine your value proposition, and build confidence in presenting your business.
Over six months, you’ll take part in market visits, connect with customers and key stakeholder, and benefit from regular expert mentoring, ending with a demo day to showcase your progress.
