A bodybuilder has been brutally murdered after a fight outside his apartment in Brazil, with police suspecting his girlfriend.
Valter de Vargas Aita, 41, died Sunday morning and his girlfriend has also been hospitalized and is fighting for her life due to her injuries. Police say that she had a stab wound.
If she survives, police in Brazil have said that they will arrest her on suspicion of murder. She was already wanted by authorities in connection to an armed robbery.
Police relased horrifying pictures of the crime scene in the city of Chapeco, with pools of blood on the floor where Aita’s lifeless body had been found.
They said he had been stabbed multiple times, with wound in his abdomen, back, face and neck he had been found through a bloody trail he left trying to escape the scene.
When his girlfriend was discovered, she was immediately rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries of her own and needed emergency surgery.
