Confusion over the end of the first half on Sunday Night Football saw Baltimore Ravens players heading for the tunnel – mistakenly thinking the game had paused for the break.

With 30 seconds remaining in the half, the Buffalo Bills marched down the field in two key plays.

That second play came with seven seconds left, with Bills quarterback Josh Allen finding tight end Dalton Kincaid out of bounds as the clock expired.

At least, that’s how it initially appeared. Kincaid hit the ground seemingly as the clock hit zero – leading Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and multiple other players to start jogging to the tunnel.

But after officials looked at the replay, they determined that there was just barely one second remaining on the clock.

Baltimore players had to run all the way back to their sideline to watch kicker Matt Prater knock through a field goal to make it 20-13 at the half.

Officials determined that Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (blue) hit the ground one second before the first half of their game against the Baltimore Ravens came to a close

It was the final mark on a half dominated by the Ravens’ ground game.

Running back Derrick Henry overpowered the Bills’ defense to rush for 123 yards and a touchdown on nine carries in the first half – leading to the Ravens’ first touchdown of the night.

Jackson was able to scamper into the end zone on the next drive to make it a 17-7 ballgame.

The Ravens came out of the locker room continuing their hot streak when Jackson hit wide receiver Zay Flowers on back-to-back plays for a combined 62 yards and one touchdown catch.
