Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo was seen pushing a fan who attempted to take a selfie with him.

As shown in a video posted by Sebas Crackbol on X, the supporter managed to get past security and went up to Ronaldo as he tried to take a selfie with the star at Portugal’s hotel.

However, Ronaldo wasn’t happy with the fan and pushed him away.

The fan was then escorted away by security along with another supporter.

Ronaldo is with the Portugal squad ahead of their World Cup qualifier away to Armenia on Saturday.

Portugal are also in action on Tuesday night when they face Hungary away.

Ronaldo received some criticism online for his actions, with one user writing: ‘This is shameful’.

Meanwhile, another wrote: ‘He’s such an unlikable person’.

However, the 40-year-old was defended by others, who suggested that the fan was in the wrong.

One user wrote: ‘I’m on Ronaldo’s side, you don’t just invade someone’s personal space like that’.

Furthermore, another user added: ‘Happy he shoved him. Stop touching ppl without permission’.

There was further support for Ronaldo, with a user writing: ‘100% agree with Ronaldo! Those people jumping right in front of him without asking. People are crazy! That’s disgraceful’.

In addition, another user wrote: ‘What happened to asking permission 1st’.

Ronaldo, who made his debut for his country in 2003, has scored 138 goals in 221 international appearances.
