NRWL poster girl Jaime Chapman has endured a hellish year after the humiliating and very public end to her relationship with Dolphins star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow.
Yet, as the old saying goes, happiness is the best revenge.
Daily Mail was first to report on the former footy golden couple’s split. Later, we exclusively revealed the reason why: Tabuai-Fidow had been filmed engaging in a sex act with another woman.
Now, two months on, 23-year-old Chapman is living her best life – and has just reached a significant personal milestone.
The Gold Coast Titans star has snapped up a five-bedroom home in Tweed Heads in far northern NSW, just south of the Queensland border.
The house comes complete with a swimming pool and is located just a short walk from the picturesque Tweed River.

Chapman announced the purchase on Instagram with the caption: ‘This life’s been crazy but it’s beautiful.’
And after the storm she’s weathered this year, ‘crazy’ is quite the understatement.
Chapman and Tabuai-Fidow became footy’s hottest couple when their romance became public in December last year.
She is arguably the poster girl of the NRLW competition after first entering the league with St George in 2021, and her ex – who is nicknamed ‘The Hammer’ – has become one of the superstars of the men’s game through his spectacular play for his club, Queensland and the Kangaroos national side.
The pair often posted photos of each other on social media, but by June all signs pointed to them having quietly gone their separate ways.
Tabuai-Fidow had been completely wiped from Chapman’s Instagram, which featured only shots of her playing and spending time with family, friends and teammates.
Even more tellingly, Chapman unfollowed him on the platform.
At the time, Tabuai-Fidow’s Instagram still featured two posts showing him with Chapman – but there used to be many more.

The 23-year-old has just revealed she has bought a five-bedroom home complete with a pool, just a short walk from the picturesque Tweed River near the NSW-Queensland border

Chapman’s split with the fan favourite known as ‘The Hammer’ was by far the worst setback in a year full of disappointments for her
Then, in early July, we exclusively revealed the bombshell reason for the split: Tabuai-Fidow had been caught in an explicit sex video with another woman.
Neither of the footy stars would comment at the time, but a source close to the couple confirmed the existence of the X-rated clip.
The footage featured a young woman known to the State of Origin winger filming herself performing a sex act on him.
Tabuai-Fidow was easily identifiable due to his tattoos, including a recent piece featuring a bear wearing a crown that he had inked on his right thigh.
Our source told us the footage was taken on June 7, when Chapman was in camp preparing for the start of her NRLW season with the Titans.
Tabuai-Fidow and the woman had been partying at the Su Casa nightclub in Brisbane, with the venue’s stamp visible on her forearm in the footage.
They left the nightclub together and ventured back to Tabuai-Fidow’s house in Brisbane’s north, where they made the consensual sex tape.
Daily Mail contacted the woman in the video for comment.

The timing of the revelation came as Tabuai-Fidow was just going into camp for the Queensland team.
When we first broke the news about their split on June 30, he still had a second post on his account, showing him holding hands with Chapman while she took a selfie.
It was accompanied by the caption ‘My love’ with a red-heart emoji – but that soon disappeared.
Tabuai-Fidow was still following Chapman when our first exclusive was published, but he had unfollowed her by the time the sex tape reared its head.
In addition, Chapman hadn’t been present when he celebrated his 100th NRL match by scoring four tries against Souths on June 28.
One of their last public appearances together came on May 1, after Chapman’s Blues team steamrolled Queensland 32-12 in the first match of the State of Origin women’s series.

Chapman is pictured recovering in hospital after suffering a serious injury to her ankle, which came on top of breaking a vertebra earlier in the year
In heartwarming scenes, she went to the sidelines to greet friends and family after the win and kissed and hugged her man, who was holding a huge cardboard cut-out of her face.
The bitter end to the relationship isn’t the only setback Chapman has suffered this year.
In April she revealed she had fractured the L2 vertebra in her lower lumbar spine while playing for the Indigenous All Stars against the Maori All Stars at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta on February 15.
Scans the following day revealed the fracture – and for the next fortnight, Chapman barely moved as she looked to recover as quickly as possible.
‘It was quite painful. The way I pulled up extremely sore the next day I knew something was wrong,’ she said.
‘I was stressed about Origin, will I be OK for NRLW….[in the end] I was very lucky with the type of break that it was and where it was.’
Chapman reached her usual high standards when she returned to the field for the Gold Coast, but more trouble was just around the corner.
Last month, she was sidelined again when she suffered a serious ankle injury in a match against the Roosters.
Chapman knew something was wrong immediately and could be seen clutching at her leg as her teammates called for the trainers.
She is currently recovering with her leg in a moon boot.

Chapman – who is arguably the poster girl of the NRLW – was also targeted in an AI deepfake attack that left her furious
Another off-field incident struck Chapman in May, when she was targeted in a deepfake photo attack that left her furious.
‘Have a good day to everyone except those who make fake AI photos of other people,’ she wrote on Instagram.
‘AI is scary these days.
‘Next time think of how damaging this can be to someone and their loved ones.
‘This has happened a few times now and it needs to stop.’
Her words were accompanied by what appears to be the original image that was subsequently doctored.
Before it became the subject of a deepfake, the photo showed Chapman taking a selfie as she sat on a bed in a gold bikini.
