Manchester City have been left sweating over one of their summer signings after he came off injured in their clash against Tottenham.

Rayan Ait-Nouri was forced off just 22 minutes into the match at the Etihad Stadium with what appeared to be an ankle injury.

The £33.7million arrival had gone down and received medical attention around 15 minutes into the clash before carrying on.

But City made the decision to haul him off when he went down again and he was replaced by Nathan Ake.

More to follow.
