Salford City have signed defender Michael Rose on a three-year deal following his release by Stoke City.
The 29-year-old previously played for Coventry City, where he won promotion from League One in 2020, as well as Scottish side Ayr United.
He made 66 appearances for Stoke prior to his release by the Potters earlier this summer after two years with the club.
“It is really good to be here. I am just happy to have got everything sorted, it is an exciting time and I am really looking forward to it,” he told the Salford website, external.
“This is a project here that I am quite excited about. Obviously there are the new owners, and hopefully I can help on the pitch and as much as I can off it as well, and just help drive the club forward.”
