A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter after the body of a man was found in Manchester.
The discovery was made on Great Western Street in Moss Side at 08:30 BST on 6 August.
A 56-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Greater Manchester Police said detectives were working to establish the circumstances that led to the man’s death, which currently remained unexplained.
In the hours prior to his death, it is believed the deceased man went to an address on Greenheys Lane, in the Hulme area before he left at about 01:30am.
The man has been described as being a black 36-year-old male, about 5ft 7 and of medium build.
He was wearing a dark beanie-style hat, a dark coloured coat with lighter coloured detailing, grey or blue Nike Air Max jogging bottoms, a grey or blue Nike Air Max sweatshirt, and black Nike trainers.
Det Ch Insp Michelle Buchanan said: “Our team are in the early stages of this investigation, and it is important that we keep an open mind while we explore all avenues of enquiry at this point.”
Both suspects have been bailed while the investigation continues.
