Finally, the new Premier League season is here and so is the Daily Mail’s new game.

Predictor is our new simple, free-to-play game where you can win big cash prizes, with £1,000 up for grabs weekly. Simply guess the winner of seven Premier League matches – or play it safe with a draw. There’s also up to £5,000 up for grabs if you come first across the whole season.

And yes, we have leagues! You’re able to create or join them, and they can either be public or private. Now is your chance to definitively prove you know more than your mates or even more than our experts – play now at dailymail.co.uk/predictor.

Four Saturday matches make up this week’s competition with Newcastle travelling to Aston Villa, Thomas Frank taking charge of his first Tottenham game against newly-promoted Burnley, Wolves hosting Manchester City while Sunderland are back in the big time as they welcome West Ham.

Sunday sees Nottingham Forest hosting Brentford, Chelsea facing Community Shield winners Crystal Palace, concluding with Manchester United’s showdown with Arsenal.

Of course, all eyes will be on Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in the most-anticipated match of the weekend.

Daily Mail Sport’s Tom Collomosse is the first expert up to try to beat.

‘Manchester United look a bit more like themselves heading into a new season and I fancy them to start well against Arsenal who, despite six new signings including Viktor Gyokeres, look like they’re still missing that special something that can turn them from perennial runners-up into potential champions,’ he says.

EXPERT PREDICTIONS

Think you can beat Daily Mail Sport's Tom Collomosse's predictions?

Think you can beat Daily Mail Sport’s Tom Collomosse’s predictions?

Aston Villa vs Newcastle – Home win

Sunderland vs West Ham – Home win

Tottenham vs Burnley – Home win

Wolves vs Manchester City – Away win

Nottingham Forest vs Brentford – Draw

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace – Draw

Manchester United vs Arsenal – Home win

‘After a pre-season dominated by the antics of Alexander Isak, Newcastle would love to turn to someone like Gyokeres and without a focal point to their attack, I can see them losing to a Villa side who have kept most of their key men together.

‘I’ll take Crystal Palace, buoyed by their win in the Community Shield and still seething at their exclusion from the Europa League, to claim a draw at Chelsea, too. Even without key men, Oliver Glasner’s men are an extremely well-coached team who have proved they can cause anyone problems.

‘Sunderland’s recruitment has been fascinating and why shouldn’t they return to the top flight in style against Graham Potter’s uninspiring West Ham?

‘Elsewhere, predictions look as straightforward as any can on the first day of a new season: Spurs to beat Burnley, Manchester City to win at Wolves, Forest and Brentford to draw.’

Do you agree? Or think you can beat Tom and the rest of our experts. Play now.

We will be back on Monday to assess all the action, review the leaderboard and get ready for the following weekend of games.

You can play Predictor every round of Premier League action this 2025-26 season.
