Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf has opened up on the bizarre toilet rule Aaron Rodgers is implementing at their training camp this summer.
Rodgers, 41, is gearing up for his first season with the Steelers after signing a one-year, $13.65million deal in Pittsburgh on the back of his New York Jets release.
Earlier this week the Super Bowl-winning quarterback practiced with his new team for the very first time as Mike Tomlin’s men got their preparations for the 2025 campaign underway.
Over the next month he will be living in a college-style dorm alongside his new teammates at Latrobe’s Saint Vincent College, where players are sharing bathrooms with one another.
And Metcalf says Rodgers is already laying down the law when it comes to the toilet they’re sharing.
‘The toilet is super loud. So he was like, “Yeah, at night, if we got to p***, just don’t flush the toilet.” I was like, “All right, bet,”‘ the 27-year-old said about his veteran teammate.

Metcalf recalled getting the urge at around 9:30pm on Wednesday, before he text Rodgers to ask: ‘You asleep yet?’
When the four-time MVP confirmed he was awake, DK replied: ‘All right, bet. I’m about to flush the toilet.’
The Steelers are hoping for Rodgers and Metcalf to build a rapport that carries over onto the field in the coming season.
This campaign may well mark Rodgers’ last in the NFL after more than two decades, meaning he will want to go out with a bang.
However, his opening practice with Pittsburgh did not get off to the best start after he threw an interception with his very first pass.
‘It’s good to get that out the way,’ Rodgers later said with a grin.
