Brentford forward Yoane Wissa reportedly wants to leave the club this summer despite the Bees being willing to open talks over a new contract.
Wissa, 28, has attracted the attention of Tottenham, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest after scoring 19 goals in the Premier League last season.
Brentford have therefore attempted to dissuade him from moving by entering dialogue over a new deal for the DR Congo international.
However, according to BBC Sport, he appears ready to ‘explore options elsewhere’ in what has been a turbulent summer so far for the west London side.
Wissa is said to have no desire to discuss improved terms, with just 12 months left to run on his current contract – although it has an option to be extended by a year.
Brentford will not want to lose both Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo in this transfer window – although the latter of their two star forwards is expected to move to Manchester United after reaching an agreement over a £71million transfer.

United declined to comment on reports that they have offered £65million plus £6million in add-ons for Mbeumo, but it is believed that that the 25-year-old Cameroon forward will now undergo a medical.
Mbeumo will not complete the move in time to join up with his new teammates when United play their first pre-season friendly against Leeds in Stockholm on Saturday.
However, he is set to be included on the club’s US tour when Ruben Amorim and his players fly to Chicago next week.
The player has got his dream move after insisting that he would only leave Brentford for United amid rival interest from Tottenham.
As for Brentford, it marks a testing period for a side who have established themselves in the Premier League since winning promotion to the top flight in 2021.
The potential departures of both Wissa and Mbeumo – coupled with long-serving former manager Thomas Frank’s decision to take the Tottenham job and ex-captain Christian Norgaard’s move to Arsenal – beckons in a period of uncertainty.
They have begun the search for attacking reinforcements as a result, having bid £35million for Ipswich winger Omari Hutchinson, who is thought to be keen on the move.
As first revealed by Mail Sport on Wednesday, the Bees have identified Hutchinson as the ideal man to supplement their attack.

Forest lost Anthony Elanga to Newcastle last week and remain in dispute with Tottenham, who thought they had triggered Morgan Gibbs-White’s £60m release clause but have yet to finalise the deal for the attacking midfielder, amid fury at the City Ground.
Brentford’s move for Hutchinson happens in the week they signed former Liverpool and sometime England captain Jordan Henderson.
Henderson, described by Bees boss Keith Andrews as ‘one of the most influential leaders in modern Premier League years’ will fill the void left by Norgaard.
