Changes are to be made to two bus routes in the coming weeks.
Following a request from its operator Arriva the 101 Bridgnorth Town service is to be renumbered the 10 service from Monday 21 July [2025].
The change is being made to avoid a clash with a separate number 101 that operates in the Telford and Wrekin Council area, with both operating out of Arriva’s Telford depot.
The service was awarded to Arriva Midlands from September 2023, and the current contract expires on 31 July 2028.
Meanwhile, the 8/8A Telford to Broseley, Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth service has been re-awarded to Arriva Midlands following a successful retendering exercise. The current contract expires on 1 August [2025], with the new contract starting on Saturday 2 August [2025] and running for five years until 3 August 2030.
