- The tourists sealed a comfortable win as they gear up to face the Wallabies
- Tomos Williams scored two tries but later limped off with a hamstring injury
The British and Irish Lions cruised to victory in their first tour match in Australia after beating Western Force 54-7 in Perth.
Andy Farrell’s side ran in eight tries and stepped up the tempo in the second half in an assured display, albeit one marred by a number of unforced handling errors.
Tomos Williams and Elliot Daly both crossed twice with skipper Dan Sheehan, Garry Ringrose, Joe McCarthy and Alex Mitchell also scoring as a much-changed Lions team bounced back after their 28-24 loss to Argentina in Dublin last week.
But Williams was forced off with a hamstring injury in an untimely scare for Farrell.
More to follow.
