Rapper Big Zuu scored the winning goal at Soccer Aid to hand the World XI a dramatic victory on Sunday night.

He produced a composed left foot finish to spark delirious celebrations from himself and his team-mates as his side won a dramatic contest 5-4.

The singer was then ecstatic in his post-match interview on ITV as he sparked up a frenzied crowd with chants of ‘World XI!’ – proving his pre-match prediction of netting a goal correct.

He added: ‘I’m up there with the greats. Schmeichel told me i owed him a goal, because I signed the badge.

‘I don’t care if it’s Paddy. I don’t care if it’s David James or Joe Hart, no likey, no lightey.’

It was a fitting finale for a contest that was chaotic throughout – as a nine-goal thriller enthralled a capacity crowd in Manchester.

That saw £15million raised for charity as this year’s edition lived up to the extensive pre-match billings from fans and celebrities alike.

Big Zuu, whose real name is Zuhair Hassan, is best known for presenting the comedy TV show Big Zuu’s Big Eats.

That came after Carlos Tevez had wrestled the World XI back into the game with four goals in 15 minutes after they had gone 2-0 down.

Tevez, 41, received a frosty reception from fans on his return to Old Trafford – where he spent two seasons at Manchester United between 2007 and 2009.

Tevez enjoyed great success with United, winning six trophies — including two Premier League titles and one UEFA Champions League.

But he forfeited his status as a United fan favourite by moving directly to the Red Devils’ arch-rivals Manchester City in 2009.

Tevez was roundly booed when his name was read out over the speaker system prior to his introduction as a second-half substitute.

His entry onto the pitch came after Wayne Rooney had earlier opened the scoring in front of the Stretford End, before ex-Lionesses star Toni Duggan doubled the home side’s lead.

Jermain Defoe bagged a brace for England after the break but the second half belonged to Tevez.

The Tevez show ended with him clattering into Aaron Lennon late in the game in a desperate — and successful — effort to deny the ex-Spurs winger an equaliser.

Referee Rebecca Welch showed Tevez a yellow card, although the crowd demanded a red.
