Grants of up to £5,000 available for community sector organisations
The Women’s Health Community Fund is designed to support small grassroots organisations and community groups to deliver important health information and support to women, girls and people from underrepresented communities. Funded activities should take place within local or regional communities in the UK.
Grants of up to £5,000 are available to support activities over a 12-month period.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for funding, organisations should meet the following requirements
- Be a registered charity, non-profit, or community interest company (CIC) operating in the UK.
- Have an income of less than £250,000 per year or fewer than 5 FTE staff.
- Provide services and support to minoritised groups in a local or regional community (not nationally or internationally).
- Have been in operation for a minimum of 12 months.
What should activities focus on?
Activities should focus on women’s health in one of the following areas
- periods
- menstrual health
- perimenopause and menopause
Projects should aim to improve health outcomes by promoting positive and healthy conversations, sharing knowledge, and offering education and/or training.
