  • Female fans stunned by Jesse Arthars try
  • Wardrobe malfunction goes viral on TikTok

Brisbane Broncos star Jesse Arthars’ try on the weekend has had hundreds of thousands of views, not because of its quality but for just how much was revealed when the tackler pulled down his shorts.

As the popular winger powered his way over the tryline in the 76th minute, he had his buttocks fully exposed.

The 26-year-old laughed off the incident which has since gone berserk on TikTok.

The moment, which was highlighted on slow-motion replays, sparked a huge reaction online, mainly from female footy supporters.

A series of clips on TikTok went viral, with one clocking up more than 420,000 likes.

‘Every man’s never gonna let their missus watch NRL again,’ wrote a TikToker named Shanae, whose post showing the moment got 173,000 likes.

‘I watched this an unhealthy amount of times,’ replied another.

‘Yep, I rewound it and slow motioned it, put my glasses on and stood right in front of the TV,’ another fan commented.

‘Me to my man: “surely they won’t show that angle on the replay?” Also me: Pls,’ another wrote.

Other comments on the footage included ‘Might have to start watching rugby now’, ‘What if this happens in the NRLW’ and ‘My husband paused it, called me in, and played it back’.

The Broncos were outhustled by the Dragons who recorded a gutsy 30-26 win in a thrilling match to heap more misery on the Brisbane outfit.

Despite Ezra Mam putting on a masterclass on his return match from suspension, it was Arthars’ try-scoring prowess that caught the attention of fans – particularly female supporters.

Clint Gutherson played a magnificent co-captain’s knock to inspire the stunning comeback win for St George Illawarra over Brisbane.

The pressure on the Broncos and their coach Michael Maguire went up a notch after the Dragons scored two second-half tries when down to 12 men.

‘We’re a real Jekyll and Hyde team, we show such great stuff and then go the other way,’ Maguire said.

The Dragons lost rising forward Dylan Egan to a suspected ACL injury in the fourth minute, but refused to relent against a wasteful Broncos outfit, who suffered their fifth loss in six games.

The visitors had lost three games this season by one point, but held on in the frenetic final minutes as the Broncos pressed their line.

‘I was saying to myself ‘surely this can’t happen to us again’, but there must be some football god out there,’ Dragons coach Shane Flanagan said.

‘In the last couple of minutes we just put ourselves under an enormous amount of pressure. It was great spirit – great club spirit and great team spirit – that got us home.’
