Rebekah Vardy was spotted making merry with the Leicester City fans during their trip to Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Vardy was seen having a beer in a Leicester kit and smiling for a photo with a fan in the away end as the Foxes battled to a 2-2 draw at the City Ground.

It comes just days after she agreed to pay £1.19million of Coleen Rooney’s legal bill, plus was ordered to stump up £212,266 in assessment courts, after losing their high-profile libel case dubbed ‘Wagatha Christie’.

In total, she must pay Rooney £1,402,266.20.

But Vardy was all smiles on Saturday as she wore her sunglasses for a balmy afternoon out watching the delights of the Premier League.

Husband Jamie Vardy started but was unable to score his 200th Leicester goal, with just two games left against Ipswich and Bournemouth to achieve the feat.

With the 38-year-old set to leave Leicester at the end of the season, the married duo may have to uproot their life depending on where he lands in the transfer market.

While the 2-2 draw no favours for the already-relegated Foxes, it pegged back Forest in their quest for Champions League football.

Conor Coady gave Leicester an early lead before Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood set Forest on course for victory, but Facundo Buonanotte had other ideas and found a late equaliser.

With Forest left seventh in the Premier League, owner Evangelos Marinakis sensationally stormed the pitch to speak with manager Nuno Espirito Santo.

However, rather than remonstrating with the boss as some speculated, Marinakis was actually expressing his frustration at the injury situation surrounding substitute Taiwo Awoniyi, as Mail Sport has reported.

Awoniyi had come on in the 83rd minute for Ibrahim Sangare as Forest searched for a winner but the 27-year-old forward needed treatment when he clattered into the far post on a quick counter-attack.

Although he rejoined the game minutes later, he was limping around as Forest failed to find the goal needed to move up to fifth.

Awoniyi had been checked by club medical staff and Marinakis was left frustrated that he was cleared to carry on, particularly after Nuno had probed with the medical staff twice.

Forest subsequently made another substitute, meaning that even though Awoniyi was struggling, he could now not be replaced.

A club source said: ‘The owner and the manager have a strong relationship, it was not an argument between them.’
