The Jacksonville Jaguars have announced they are releasing wide receiver Gabe Davis.
It comes just after they took Travis Hunter, who plays receiver at cornerback, with the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft.
They signed Davis to a three-year, $39million deal last offseason. But he played just 10 games, finishing with 20 catches for 239 yards.
Davis signed with the Jaguars after leaving the Buffalo Bills in 2024 as a free agent.
The Bills drafted Davis out of the University of Central Florida in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft.
