Shannon Sharpe’s rape accuser told the Super Bowl winner ‘no means no’ and that she had broken down in tears after he sexually abused her in a shocking text message earlier this year, it has been alleged.
Sharpe, 56, is being sued by one of his ex-girlfriends for $50million over claims he repeatedly raped her, which he vehemently denies after countering that she is merely trying to score a major financial settlement from a consensual relationship.
Yet in an alleged text exchange between the two parties back in January – which was provided to DailyMail.com on Tuesday by Shannon’s attorney Lanny J. Davis, who claims they show ‘a pattern of sexual role-playing’ initiated by the accuser – the woman in question accuses him of forcing himself upon her without consent.
According to files released by the defense team, her bombshell message on January 2, 2025, said: ‘I cried when u left because I begged you to put a condom on and not put it in my a** and u didn’t listen. I don’t care what our history is, no means no shannon.’
‘Idk [I don’t know] how to process this,’ she added.
The evening prior, the accuser – who is believed to be in her 20s – allegedly text Sharpe demanding he made a payment to her, which she appeared to suggest had previously been promised.
‘You’ve got 5 mins to ft [FaceTime] me back with the money or there’s no deal and ur never touching this young white p**** again. i’m not playing with u shannon.’

The files claim she then sent a graphic photo before saying: ‘or this a**hole. i would get to calling if i were you…3 mins left’.
After threatening that his time was running out, she is then quoted as saying: ‘times up, no deal. goodbye.’
But Sharpe is said to have text back: ‘I’m punishing that a**hole 2morrow. Haven’t f**ed you up the a** in months’.
‘Respond or no deal,’ he added. Before his ex-girlfriend allegedly replied: ‘no.’
Over three hours later she then text him: ‘just admit it… ur addicted to me,’ before telling Sharpe she was left in tears after he allegedly raped her.
A phone call appeared to take place between the pair that evening. Five days later, Sharpe then messaged her saying: ‘You’re p***ing me off’.
‘Really what? we’re done shannon,’ she replied.
‘After you got the money we’re done? WOW,’ the ESPN First Take co-host fumed.
The accuser then allegedly told him: ‘no. u know why we’re done… and it has nothing to do with the money shannon.’
DailyMail.com reached out to the plaintiff’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, for comment.
‘I’m not sure why Sharpe’s attorney released those,’ Buzbee responded. ‘Makes me wonder whose side is he on? I think those two texts provide a good understanding of what occurred.’

Sharpe is preparing his fans for the release of a sex tape between himself and the ex-girlfriend suing him for $50million over rape accusations
Earlier on Tuesday, Sharpe could be heard threatening to choke the girlfriend who is now suing him in newly-released audio provided to DailyMail.com by Buzbee.
‘… I’m gonna f***ing choke the s*** out of you when I see you,’ he is heard telling the woman, identified only as ‘Jane Doe’ in her lawsuit.
Davis, Sharpe’s attorney, has since claimed his client was speaking ‘in the heat of the moment’ and the violent threat was ‘not intended.’ DailyMail.com also reached out to ESPN, where Sharpe frequently makes guest appearances, but a network spokesperson declined to comment.
Sharpe also broke his silence on the matter by claiming Buzbee has a history of targeting black men for his own financial gain.
‘Tony Buzbee targets black men and I believe he’s going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and play into every stereotype you can possibly imagine,’ the Denver Broncos great and popular podcaster said in a recorded statement posted on Instagram.
A well-known Houston lawyer, Buzbee previously represented the women who settled sexual misconduct lawsuits against NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson, now a member of the Cleveland Browns. Buzbee is also currently representing Andrew Tate’s ex-girlfriend, who accused the controversial influencer of physical abuse, and the woman who dropped her sexual assault accusations against Jay-Z.
The rapper has since filed his own lawsuit accusing Buzbee of extortion.
Sharpe, who has denied the rape allegations, is now accusing Buzbee of a ‘shakedown.’

Buzbee did allege that Sharpe offered his client a ‘hefty sum’ to settle the case in February, only for the plaintiff to decline the payoff.
‘A little history,’ Buzbee wrote in his statement. ‘Back in early February, our office contacted Mr. Sharpe on behalf of Jane Doe and broached the subject of a meeting.
‘Multiple conversations took place,’ the statement continued. ‘Ultimately a mediation occurred. Mr. Sharpe was represented by different lawyers in that mediation. That mediation process went on for more than six weeks, ultimately leading to Mr. Sharpe making an incredibly significant offer to settle. Ultimately Jane Doe refused the hefty sum offered by Sharpe and instead filed this case last night.’
Davis has confirmed Sharpe’s settlement offer, which he says was at least $10 million.
In a statement on Monday, Davis also named the accuser and included several sexually explicit text messages she allegedly sent to Sharpe.
The shocking purported exchanges between Shannon and his accuser date back to November of 2023.
‘Only if you put that baby gravy in me, then I can do whatever I want to me,’ read one message Jane Doe allegedly sent to Sharpe.
‘I wanna put my tongue in you’re a**hole and then marry u,’ read another message.
Two of the alleged texts from Jane Doe to Sharpe included her request that he ‘put a big black baby in me.’
Responding to Sharpe’s denials, Buzbee released his own statement Tuesday accusing Davis of lying about the accuser and misrepresenting her salacious text messages.
He also claimed ‘an incredibly damning video does indeed exist’ and its contents will ‘speak volumes about Mr. Sharp and his behavior.’

Sharpe and his attorney released the name of the ex accusing him of rape in Nevada, as well sexually explicit texts she allegedly sent to him – which include the messages above
Furthermore, Buzbee alleged that Sharpe offered his client a ‘hefty sum’ to settle the case in February, only for the plaintiff to decline the payoff.

Davis has since confirmed the male voice in the tape provided to DailyMail.com by Buzbee’s office belongs to his client.
The recording contains a conversation between Sharpe and his accuser, who, according to her lawsuit, was only 20 when they began dating in late 2023. Davis has confirmed that the male voice on the tape belongs to Sharpe.
‘You want to be a d*** to me now, so…,’ Sharpe is heard saying.
A woman’s voice quickly chimed in: ‘I don’t want to be… Don’t manipulate me!’
Sharpe also responded quickly.
‘If you say that word one more time, I’m gonna f***ing choke the s*** out of you when I see you,’ he said.
After a long pause, Sharpe is heard saying: ‘Thank you.’

An even longer pause then followed before the woman said: ‘I don’t want to be choked.’
Sharpe responded: ‘Yes you do. I don’t think you have a choice in the matter.’
Jane Doe claimed she was abused by Sharpe over their year-long relationship. She also said it was another woman, and not her, who was caught having sex with Sharpe when the Pro Football Hall of Famer accidentally streamed live audio of a sexual encounter on social media in September.
Sharpe is first accused of raping Jane Doe the following month, allegedly forcing himself on her as she ‘was crying and sobbing.’ He allegedly raped her again in January after arriving at her home with promises of Christmas and birthday gifts.
‘The lawsuit filed under the pseudonym ”Jane Doe” lays out a pattern of intimidation, manipulation, and abuse, including allegations that Sharpe repeatedly threatened to choke and slap Jane Doe,’ read Monday’s initial statement from Buzbee.
Sharpe’s legal team has since accused the plaintiff of secretly recording a ‘consensual’ sexual encounter with the intention of editing and misrepresenting it for use in her case against the podcaster and ESPN personality.
‘In her effort to extract a large financial settlement, [Jane Doe] presented Mr. Sharpe with a secretly recorded video of a consensual sexual encounter,’ the statement read.
‘We believe the video has been heavily edited and taken entirely out of context, crafted to falsely portray a consensual act as non-consensual. [Jane Doe] has refused to provide a copy of the full, unedited version of the recording to Mr. Sharpe’s legal team.’
