MLB stadiums are stepping up their food game ahead of the 2025 season with unique menu items to welcome eager fans back to the ballpark.
With excitement building up, stars will shine both on the field and in the concession stands, giving fans several reasons to attend games from March through October.
Like most seasons, teams across the Majors took to the drawing board and created new treats to accompany fans across nine innings.
This year is no different as the Diamondbacks, Cubs, Yankees, Dodgers, and Mariners’ newest food attractions prepare to make their debuts on Thursday.
The Arizona Diamondbacks will serve the 20-inch ‘Grand Slamwich’ at Chase Field. The sandwich is part chicken Parmesan and part Italian meatball with Marzano tomato sauce, provolone, pesto, and Parmesan served with a side of kettle chips and house giardiniera.
‘It’s an amazing sandwich,’ Levy regional chef Ryan Evans, who lives in Los Angeles, told Fox News Digital. ‘It’s one of those [where] you walk down the concourse, and people want to know where you got it.’
Chicago-based Levy manages the concessions at Chase Field and six other MLB ballparks. With their headquarters in Windy City, Levy also engineered the ‘Jibarito Sandwich’ to be served at the Cubs’ Wrigley Field.
The iconic Chicago dish originated from the city’s Puerto Rican community. The Jibarito, which Evans called a ‘showstopper’ contains roast beef, garlic butter, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli tucked between two smashed and fried plantains.
Cubs fans will be able to enjoy the Jibarito for the opening homestand of a rotating menu at Wrigley this season.
Meanwhile, the kings of the American League welcomed a sweet addition to their menu as the ‘Petroni Tiramisu’ brings fans to Yankee Stadium.
Courtesy of chef Christian Petroni, the tiramisu is made of espresso mascarpone cream, lady finger cookies, and cocoa powder and served in a collectible Yankee helmet.
Yankee fans can find the tiramisu at Petroni’s stand in section 125.
Back out west, the Seattle Mariners have added their team color to the ‘What Up Corn Dog’, which the team described as a ‘Mariners blue, honey-battered corn dog with a spicy crunch served with nacho cheese.’
And lastly, the reigning World Series champion LA Dodgers welcome fans back with championship rings and ‘The Slugger’ at Dodgers Stadium as they look to defend their crown.
The Slugger is a 16-inch jalapeño cheddar sausage topped with corn relish, white cheddar cheese sauce, cilantro crema, and crunchy tortilla strips, served with fries.
Found near section 51 and on the reserve level near section 31, Evans painted The Slugger as ‘super juicy, flavorful, and smoky’ with every bite.
