Tiger Woods was nowhere to be seen as the finals of his new TGL venture kicked off, a day after the golf legend and Vanessa Trump went public with their relationship.

Ten days after DailyMail.com exclusively broke the news that the golf icon was dating Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife, the couple posted two pictures on social media and declared: ‘Love is in the air’

Just over 24 hours later, Atlanta Drive GC beat New York Golf Club in the first leg of the TGL Finals – the revolutionary golf league founded by Woods and Rory McIlroy.

The match – which saw Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel and Justin Thomas secure a 6-5 win over Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young – took place in Florida.

But there was no sign of Woods who, on Sunday night, asked for privacy after revealing his relationship with Trump.

‘Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together,’ he wrote on social media.

‘At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.’

Among the first people to offer their congratulations was Ivanka Trump, formerly Vanessa’s sister-in-law.

She commented on the post ‘So happy for you both’ while adding a number of emojis with love hearts.

Woods, 49, and Vanessa, 47, who both live in Florida, have been together since Thanksgiving, DailyMail.com confirmed with four sources.

They live 20 minutes apart in the wealthy southern Florida enclave of Palm Beach and were spotted together at a golf tournament last month.
