Taylor Swift could be heading to Madison Square Garden soon – but it would be on a date night with Travis Kelce at the New York Knicks rather than a headline show herself.
The Kansas City Chiefs star and his brother Jason welcomed Ben Stiller onto their New Heights podcast this week, with the Hollywood star a die-hard fan of the NBA team.
Stiller told the Kelce brothers that he once sat courtside with Swift at MSG, giving Travis an idea for a date night with the singer in the Big Apple.
‘I went to a Knicks game with Taylor, she was there, this was like 10 years ago,’ Stiller explained.
‘I was there with my son and we facetimed my daughter, who is a huge Swiftie. We had the best time, she is incredible.’
‘Oh yeah, I appreciate that,’ Travis replied. ‘I think the same thing. Maybe we can get Taylor to another Knicks game.’
Travis Kelce has grand plans for a date night in Taylor Swift when they’re next in New York

Kelce and Swift have enjoyed dates around the city over the course of their relationship
Stiller said he could help Kelce make it happen, saying: ‘You should definitely come, I can hook that up.’
Kelce and Swift have had sporty date nights in New York before, with the couple heading to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx last October to see the Yankees beat the Kansas City Royals in the playoffs.
Last September, they also watched the men’s final of the US Open alongside Patrick and Brittany Mahomes in Queens.
The world’s most famous couple are often out and about in Manhattan, with Swift owning a luxury apartment in Tribeca.
Kelce is a big basketball fan, although he was memorably booed at an NBA game in 2024 when he went to see the Dallas Mavericks play with teammate Patrick Mahomes.
Fans jeered when his face was shown on the jumbotron, with Kelce theatrically turning round to look at the crowd in response.
But if the couple are going to get to the Garden, it might need to be sooner than later.
The Knicks have 15 games of the regular season left before the playoffs begin. The team is third in the Eastern Conference, behind reigning champions Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers – Kelce’s hometown NBA team.

The NBA’s regular season starts in October and by that time, Kelce will be in full flow with the NFL after choosing to play on with the Kansas City Chiefs at the age of 35.
There were huge concerns he was going to retire after they lost the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles and at one stage, Kelce looked like a man on the brink as he said on New Heights that he was kicking the can down the road over making a decision.
But after some time to reflect, the tight end decided he was not done yet and didn’t want to end his career on one of the worst nights of his playing days with Kansas City.
