Danica Patrick joined the chorus of conservatives mocking Democratic representatives after they protested during what she described as President Donald Trump’s ‘epic’ address to Congress on Tuesday.
Echoing similar comments from Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, the retied NASCAR and Indy Car driver took aim at liberals for accusing Trump of lying and turning his back on American veterans.
‘I have been trying to find the right words to describe the performance of the left last night,’ Patrick wrote on X, adding: ‘I can’t say any of them out loud.’
Texas Democrat Al Green stood and shouted at Trump during the speech while claiming the President did not have the mandate to cut Medicaid, and was ultimately removed by the Sargent at Arms. Other Democrats held up signs reading ‘Save Medicaid’ and ‘Protect Veterans’ during Trump’s remarks.
Patrick was unimpressed, especially when they failed to stand alongside Republicans as Trump enumerated what he and his supporters see as accomplishments.

Danica ended her tangent by declaring her love for the ‘conservative momentum we have’
‘Those who couldn’t stand for the ways that America has been made better, safer, stronger, and more – American, will be miserable for a long time,’ Patrick wrote. ‘The golden age is here and the left… is just sitting there.’
Patrick later tuned into CNN to see if Trump’s opponents would criticize Democrats’ behavior on Capitol Hill.
‘CNN contributing analyst just called the paddles held up by the democrats last night preformance (sic) art not governing,’ Patrick wrote. ‘Also, to please show some decorum.
‘Yes, I am watching CNN to see what in the world they would say about last night.
‘The first popular democrat to speak and act like a rational, kind, critical thinking human being (that isn’t then cancelled or silenced by their own people) will have a huge following.
‘I’m in no rush to see this, I don’t really care. I love the conservative momentum we have. I just think it’s true.’
Patrick, who previously dated NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers, initially endorsed Robert F. Kennedy Jr before following his lead and backing Trump to reclaim the presidency.
She then joined the likes of former ESPN reporter Sage Steele and Lara Trump on the campaign trail to help the 78-year-old win nearly 50 percent of the US vote for a 312-226 electoral college victory.
