Jordon Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of legendary football coach Bill Belichick, 72, has claimed victory from Donald Trump after her desperate plea for him to reinstate the Maine Sea Grant.

The former cheerleader issued an impassioned statement on Instagram this week where she underlined the ‘existential fears’ of families who depend on the fishing industry for their livelihoods after funding for the Maine Sea Grant was cut.

But on Wednesday night, she gleefully announced that the Trump administration have agreed to renegotiate the funding, posting on Instagram: The fisherman have been heard! The Trump administration has agreed to renegotiate the Maine Sea Grant Funding.

‘It is with a full, full heart that I share that this most wonderful news with you all. This effort could not have been achieved without Senator Susan Collins and her commitment to Maine’s fishing community.

‘Senator Collins, on behalf of all fishermen of Maine, I thank you for your continual support in preserving our heritage, tradition and economy.

Thank you to the U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnik, for hearing our pleas.

‘Thank you for your commitment to ensuring that hardworking Maine lobstermen and fishermen will continue to make a living and provide seafood for local, state, and national markets in a sustainable fashion.’

She ended her post with the hashtags ‘TrumpDOESLoveFishermen’ and ‘TrumpLovesFisherman’.
