Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was spotted reuniting with several key members of the club’s 2021 UEFA Champions League-winning squad at a private party.
The images, which surfaced on social media via Jorginho’s wife, Catherine Harding, showed Tuchel in high spirits alongside Jorginho, Reece James, Mason Mount, Trevoh Chalobah and Ben Chilwell.
The reunion sparked excitement among Chelsea fans, as the bond between Tuchel and his former players remains strong despite his departure from the club in September 2022.
The 2020-2021 season under Tuchel was one of the most memorable in Chelsea’s history. The German manager arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2021, replacing Frank Lampard, and transformed the team.
Within just four months, Tuchel led Chelsea to Champions League Glory. Chelsea defeated Manchester City 1-0 in final on May 29, 2021, in Porto. The winning goal was scored by fellow German, Kai Havertz, and was assisted by Mount.
Chelsea also reached the FA Cup final under Tuchel’s tutelage but missed out on the silverware, losing 1-0 to Leicester City. However, the Blues did manage a top four finish in the Premier League, ensuring qualification for the following season’s Champions League.

Chelsea also defeated Villarreal on penalties to win the UEFA Super Cup and claimed their first-ever club World Cup title – beating Palmeiras 2-1 in the final, with goals from Romelu Lukaku and Havertz.
Tuchel’s Chelsea side was known for their defensive solidity, with players like James, Chilwell, and Jorginho playing key roles in the team’s success – making fans excited to see them back together.
One fan wrote: ‘I just want my boys back together.’ Another added: ‘The ex Chelsea players reunion is breaking my heart’. While one Chelsea fan said: ‘We need them all back’.
Several comments called for Mount to return to the club in particular. One supporter wrote: ‘Oh my god Mason, I miss him the most’. Another added: ‘What I would do to have Mason Mount back at the club’. While a third said: ‘Bring Mason home’.
Tuchel was most recently appointed as the new manager of the England national football team. Known for his tactical acumen and success with clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea, Tuchel brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality.
The former Chelsea manager signed an 18-month contract in October and will earn around £6million per year in the role. In taking the job he becomes England’s third foreign manager after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.
He succeeds Gareth Southgate, who spent eight years in the role and led the Three Lions to the European Championship finals as well as the semi-finals and quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Chelsea caption James has returned to full fitness after a prolonged period on the sidelines this season due to a hamstring injury. Chalobah is also back at Chelsea after his loan to Palace was cut short. However, he is currently having issues with his back.
Chilwell is currently on loan at Crystal Palace while Mount – who joined Manchester United – has been out since December after sustaining a thigh injury.
