A man has been charged with murder after a homeless man was attacked in a park more than 12 years ago and has since died.
Igor Pavlov, 41, was seriously hurt in Whitworth Park in Rusholme, Manchester, in 2012 and died years later.
Anthony Ellis, 36, appeared at Manchester Crown Court earlier charged with his murder.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again in May for a plea hearing.
