Abdul Carter, a possible No 1 overall pick at the 2025 draft, could require surgery on his foot – just weeks before his future is decided.
According to ESPN, tests revealed on Wednesday that the Penn State star has a ‘stress reaction’ in his right foot.
He must now decide whether to have an operation or hold off and try to prove his fitness to teams at this week’s Combine.
‘There are mixed opinions on whether he needs surgery, and we will figure that out in the near future,’ Carter’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN.
