NFL legend Marshawn Lynch will join a star-studded cast for the third season of the HBO teen series Euphoria.

The show, starring Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, wrapped up its second season in 2022 and has begun filming its third iteration, scheduled to premiere in 2026.

On Friday, Lynch was named one of Euphoria’s new cast members alongside Grammy-winning singer Rosalia and actor Kadeem Hardison.

‘I’m hella juiced about the show and getting a chance to work with the people in front and behind the camera,’ Lynch said, per HBO. ‘At the end of the day, I’m just thankful for the opportunity.’

Additionally, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hébert, Anna Van Patten, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, and Toby Wallace will join the season three cast.

The upcoming season will feature a time jump that sees the main characters past high school, per Deadline.

Lynch’s involvement in the series adds to a long list of acting credits for the Super Bowl winner.

He has played himself in multiple TV shows such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine, 80 For Brady, and The League.

Furthermore, Lynch has played roles in 2023’s Bottoms and three episodes of Westworld. Most recently, he acted in the comedy-action film, Love Hurts starring Ke Huy Quan.

Lynch was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2007 and remained in Upstate New York until 2010 before joining the Seattle Seahawks.

He would move to the Oakland Raiders in 2017-2018 before retiring as a Seahawk the year after.

Beast Mode finished his NFL career with five Pro Bowl selections, 10,413 rushing yards, 85 rushing, and nine receiving touchdowns. He also led the NFL in rushing touchdowns twice and made the 2010s All-Decade Team.
