Two-time Super Bowl Champion Kadarius Toney was recently arrested in Georgia over allegations he strangled a woman, according to online records reviewed by DailyMail.com.
Police in Georgia issued a warrant for 26-year-old former member of the Kansas City Chiefs last month for allegedly squeezing a woman’s throat ‘with enough force to cause her to be unable to breath,’ according to police documents provided to TMZ.
DailyMail.com has reached out to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department for more information.
Toney was released on February 6 on $25,000 bond, according to online records. No attorney for Toney is currently listed.
A former first-round pick, the 26-year-old Toney played for the Chiefs the last two season before being waived and resurfacing with the Cleveland Browns in 2024.
Ultimately he was done in by a poor performance in Week 14 in which he muffed a punt and was flagged for taunting. He was later released on December 10.

After a difficult 2023 season, Toney was famously left off the Super Bowl LVIII active roster. And while he did win his second Super Bowl ring with the team, the Chiefs ultimately waived him in May following a string of blunders.
Most famously, Toney lined up offsides during a crucial moment of a regular-season game against the rival Buffalo Bills. The flag negated what would have been the game-winning touchdown after tight end Travis Kelce deftly lateralled to Toney, who managed to scamper into the end zone before the points were taken off the board.

A year earlier, Toney caught a touchdown and returned a punt 65 yards to set up another score in a Super Bowl LVII win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Miami.
The former Florida Gators star remains a sore subject among Giants fans, who remain upset that the team passed over other stars such as Miami defensive end Gregory Rousseau, who was picked by the Bills.
