There are negatives surrounding all the runners in the Denman Chase at Newbury (2.25) but it looks a good opportunity for HITMAN (NB) to gain his first win since 2022. Runner-up in the previous two renewals, he has finished second on his two starts this season and looks sure to be involved in the finish.
In the William Hill Hurdle (3.35), OUR CHAMP (NAP) can spring a surprise at a big price. Ridden too forcefully in his previous two races, including when third over this course and distance, he showed a good attitude to win at Ascot in November. Back down to 136, the seven-year-old looks overpriced.

BINT HAVANA GOLD continued her consistent run of form with another placed effort at this course last week. She is well drawn in stall four.
