Patrick Dorgu was spotted heading for dinner at an upmarket restaurant ahead of confirmation of his £25.2million move to Manchester United.
Dorgu, 20, jetted out from Italy on Saturday to undergo his medical and has officially put pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year contract at Old Trafford.
The versatile full back will become Ruben Amorim’s second signing, after youngster Ayden Heaven arrived from Arsenal, and he is expected to be in the stands for United’s home game against Crystal Palace this afternoon.
After completing his formalities at Carrington, Dorgu headed across to The Ivy, a swanky establishment popular with United players and staff.
Dressed in a brown jumper and sharp black trousers, the defender kept his hood up and was flanked by three security guards as he entered the front door.
He had arrived at the restaurant in a black Jeep and took a short stroll from the car, while hopeful onlookers took out their phones to film him.

Amorim had identified Dorgu, a four-time Denmark international, as a player able to solve his headache at left wing back, while he can also play on the right side.
Asked about his impending move to United at an airport yesterday, Dorgu told Sky Sports: ‘Yes, it’s an opportunity for me.’
His medical was delayed earlier this week with the necessary documentation and contracts not completed on time for the original test. Lecce are also said to have been keen to include him in their squad for their defeat by Parma on Friday night.
United initially lodged a £16.8m bid plus £4.2m in add-ons but this was rebuffed.
Mail Sport reported that Lecce were originally holding out for a package worth £33m.
Dorgu’s contract with the Serie A side was set to run until 2029 and club president Saverio Sticchi Damiani claimed they would ‘resist’ selling players if they could.
United had PSG full back Nuno Mendes on their shortlist for this month but the deal was deemed to be too difficult owing to the club’s dire financial position. Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez was another under consideration.
Dorgu started off his youth career at Copenhagen-based side Husum Boldklub before moving to Nordsjaelland’s academy in 2020.

Two years later, he signed for Leece and was promoted to the senior team after just one season. His debut came in the Coppa Italia in August 2023.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is expected to join Aston Villa on loan. Having been ocstracised by Amorim, the forward will undergo his medical today.
Rashford has missed out on the last 12 matches and declared he was ready for a ‘new challenge’ in a bombshell interview released in December.
The deal will also contain an option to turn the move permanent for £40m.
