Man United star Amad Diallo was spotted forgetting to take the match ball with him after netting the first hat-trick of his career to inspire victory over Southampton.
Amad continued his rise at Man United on Thursday night with a late treble against rock bottom Saints, as the Red Devils came from behind to earn a 3-1 win.
The Ivorian equalised in the 82nd minute at Old Trafford, before producing a volleyed finish to put Man United ahead in the 90th.
Amad completed a hat-trick in stoppage time with the winger seizing on a mistake by Taylor Harwood-Bellis, before tapping into an empty Southampton net.
Following the final whistle, Amad was seen kicking the ball into the stands to celebrate Man United’s comeback win.
The 22-year-old appeared to have forgotten he could claim the match ball following his treble, which was the first hat-trick scored by a Man United player since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2022.
