Josh Allen is the runaway favorite to be named the NFL’s MVP this season with his spectacular play, only looking other-worldly when realizing the Bill quarterback has dominated with an injury he suffered Week 1.
During the fourth quarter of Buffalo’s game against the Arizona Cardinals to kick off the season, Allen broke his left hand during a touchdown run.
Allen went airborne for the score, being shoved by two Cardinals, and landing on his non-throwing hand.
The 28-year-old did not stay down for long, got up and celebrated. However, he did look at and shake his left hand.
Allen said it was ‘fine’ after the game and has not missed any subsequent contests or practices since.
In fact, not much about the ferocious style Allen plays has changed since.

The only noticeable difference is the amount of snaps Allen is taking under center, compared to in a shotgun or pistol formation.
Allen is only under center for 15.4 percent of snaps, the third-lowest rate of his NFL career. Yet, his production has not slowed down at all.
The signal caller was previously on the Bills’ injury list for a hand injury during Week 12, but the extent of his pain was not previously known.

Heading into the game against the Patriots on Sunday, Allen has 25 passing touchdowns compared to only five interceptions. Not a bad state line for someone with one good hand.
