Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 LIVE: Ring walk time, undercard results and round-by-round updates as ‘The Gypsy King’ seeks revenge against the Ukrainian southpaw
Follow Mail Sport’s live blog for the ring walk times, undercard results and round-by-round updates as Tyson Fury takes on Oleksandr Usyk at the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia.
Paris Fury opens up on not speaking to Tyson for three months
Tyson Fury made the shock admission earlier this week that he has not spoken to his wife Paris for three months while he has been training for his rematch.
Paris has now touched down in Saudi and has spoken about how she has coped without speaking to Tyson for so long.
Third fight on the way
No messing about early on here, we’re on to our third fight of the night. That’s good to see.
It will be Dylan Colin taking on Ukraine’s Daniel Lapin, who is a close friend of Usyk’s.
Big John and Okolie in the building
Two interested observers have arrived in Riyadh.
Big John Fisher will be watching his son Johnny Fisher take on Dave Allen later, while Lawrence Okolie will be looking at potential future opposition after recently stepping up to the heavyweight division.
Novitsyki wins second fight of the evening
The second fight of the night is over and it’s a unanimous decision win for Ukraine’s Andrii Novitskyi.
Is that a good omen for Usyk for later?
Lennox Lewis struggling to pick a winner
Lennox Lewis was the last undisputed heavyweight champion before Usyk, and he is out in Riyadh for tonight’s showdown.
The Brit has admitted there is very little to split the pair ahead of the rematch we’ve all been waiting for.
Late change for tonight’s main event
It wouldn’t be a big heavyweight night without a bit of late drama.
This time it has come in the shape of who the third and final judge will be, and it was all settled earlier with a coin toss.
What’s coming up?
There are eight undercard fights in total before tonight’s main event.
We are nearing the end of the second fight already, so we’re moving along nicely.
The action is already underway
We are already towards the end of the second fight in Saudi as the undercrd gets going.
Local star Mohammed Alakel got a home victory in the opening bout, and now we have a hevayweight clash between Andrii Novytskyi and Edgar Ramirez.
What happened at the weigh-in?
Well, last night’s weigh-in had some drama as Fury tipped the scales almost 20lbs heavier than he did for the first fight.
But, was that really his weight? Fury was wearing heavy clothing so may have actually been significantly lighter.
Meanwhile, Usyk weighed in just three ounds heavier than the first fight in May.
Good evening!
Fight night is finally here!
Will Tyson Fury get his revenge or will it be a repeat victory for Oleksandr Usyk?
