Travis Kelce has told the young Kansas City Chiefs fans who fell from the stands in Carolina on Sunday that he should sue the Panthers.
Chiefs defensive end Tershawn Wharton came to the recuse when he grabbed a young fan who plummeted from the stands at the end of the game.
Footage went viral of the young Chiefs fan waving at players as they left the field – Kelce could even be spotted in the corner of the frame.
But as Wharton took his gloves off to throw to the young fan in question, disaster very nearly struck.
The child, wearing a Nick Bolton jersey, reached out to take the gloves from one of his heroes when he appeared to trip and fall head first over the edge of the stand.
Fortunately, Wharton was close by and appeared to catch the boy and help him climb back up into the stand.

Speaking about the incident on New Heights, Travis Kelce joked he should sue the Panters
Speaking about the incident on this week’s episode of New Heights with his brother Jason, Kelce said: ‘I actually saw this and I just kept it moving. I felt bad after once I found out.
‘I don’t know who the brainiac was who cut the railing right there. You see how there’s a little gap? What the f*** is that for?’
Jason interrupted: ‘Who knows? Maybe the Panthers are anti-kids.’
Travis continued: ‘Dude he should f***ing go to school with a neck brace on and sue the f***ing Panthers. Get rich quick, kid.
‘Shoutout to Terk (Watson) for making sure the little guy was alright. Once I saw Terk was over there I knew everything was good.’
Wharton broke his silence on the incident on The Pat McAfee show on Tuesday and said it was a ‘natural reaction’.
‘It was a natural reaction. Usually when I leave a game I try to throw my gloves in the crowd.
‘I heard my name a little bit and then I saw him coming down.

‘There were two security guards there but I don’t think they realized what I was doing because they were looking at us but I just had to push him into the stands a little bit so he didn’t hit too hard.
‘I kind of grabbed him right by the back of his back and pushed him into the stands a little bit more.
‘I haven’t (spoken to him) but I would like to reach out to him and get him to a game and be able to reflect with him a bit more if I could.’
The Chiefs narrowly beat the Panthers on Sunday at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, with a late field goal from Spencer Shrader handing them a 30-27 victory to move to 10-1 for the season.
The 26-year-old Wharton is in his fifth season with the Chiefs, with Kansas City signing him in 2020 after he went undrafted.
He played for Missouri S&T at college level and has played in every game for the Chiefs so far this season.
The Chiefs have a shorter turnaround than usual after Sunday’s game.
The Super Bowl winners are back in action on Friday at Arrowhead Stadium in a divisional matchup against Las Vegas Raiders.
