Mary Fowler has publicly proclaimed her love for Nathan Cleary in a clever series of Instagram posts as she revealed a stunning new look arising from her high-profile job with one of the world’s leading cosmetic brands.
The Matildas star showed her followers two photos – one with locks of her hair in the shape of a heart, and another of a heart-shaped mark on a pavement – to help spell out the message ‘I love you’ on Tuesday.
Fowler also used the close-up of her hair – and part of her eye – as the first pic in a set of photos she shared on the platform, with the last pic being a close-up of one of Cleary’s eyes in what appeared to be another message to the Penrith Panthers star.
While the couple have previously posted love-heart emojis to each other as they reacted to one another’s posts, this is the first time one of them has
The 21-year-old also showed off two images of her performing her ambassador role for cosmetics giant L’Oreal, which she announced back in March.
Fowler is seen wearing a strapless gold dress in one of the photos, and a chick black shirt in the other, with both images featuring the firm’s ‘You’re worth it’ slogan.

The 21-year-old was also busy on social media congratulating her Matildas teammate Sam Kerr on her amazing baby news
She also took to Instagram on Monday night to send a message of congratulations to teammate Sam Kerr after the Tillies skipper announced she and her fiancee Kristie Mewis are expecting a baby.
The Manchester City star and Cleary have been posting about each other regularly since he had to return home to Australia for shoulder surgery after visiting her in England when he’d guided the Panthers to a fourth straight grand final win in October.
Earlier this month Fowler posted an out-of-character photo as she treated her fans to a collection of images that coincided with Cleary’s 26th birthday.
Their relationship also appeared to go up a notch when Cleary was photographed holding Matildas star Katrina Gorry’s daughter Harper as he watched the Aussies take on Germany – the first time he’s been pictured spending time with his partner’s closest mates.
That followed the couple both sharing pics of their time together in the UK and Europe as they passed the one-year mark since their relationship went public.
The NRL star included a photo of him with Fowler in an Instagram post he called ‘Down time’, which also featured pics of him celebrating this year’s grand final victory with his teammates, driving a Mercedes in Europe, taking in some of the stunning sights on the continent – and lastly, a shot of Fowler posing with a portrait he painted of her.
That last photo got a reaction out of Fowler, who commented, ‘Mems [memories] for a lifetime … that last slide tho.’
Shortly after Cleary’s post went up, it was his girlfriend’s turn.
Fowler sent a heartwarming message to Cleary by using a water mark shaped like a heart to help her spell out her love for him
The Manchester City star also did the same with a few locks of her hair
Fowler posted a shot of the couple embracing while they caught up in England, along with a short video of her walking up a hill, which appears to have been taken by Cleary, who responded to the post with a smiley face.
The couple’s time together in England saw them first pictured at Old Trafford watching the Super League Grand Final. During a half-time interview, Cleary had also poured cold water on rumours that he could move to the northern hemisphere to be closer to Fowler.
The sporting duo have shared several snaps of each other enjoying some downtime. The pair were pictured enjoying coastal walks and visiting a seaside town, while Cleary posted several snaps of himself taking a dip in a Swiss lake, as he travelled to watch Fowler feature for the Matildas in their 1-1 draw against Switzerland last month.
But while the pair have been doing plenty of exploring, it seems they’ve also been brushing up on their painting skills.
Fowler shared a picture on her Instagram account seemingly showing that the pair had painted portraits of each other.
Cleary also signed his portrait of his girlfriend with the message: ‘Love yourz’ before adding his signature at the bottom of the picture.
The Queenslander shared several other pictures of the pair spending some time at the beach. She also added a picture of herself standing outside what appears to be the Catedral-Basilica de Santa Maria in Mallorca.
She also added a snap of herself with several Matildas team-mates and a picture showing the message: ‘Don’t lose this moment searching for another.’
She captioned the post: ‘Feeling blessed. Grateful for this life.’
