Mike Tyson has revealed he’s lucky to be alive after having a threesome with a man and woman who both died of AIDS.
Speaking before his defeat by Jake Paul on his controversial return to boxing, the 58-year-old told Interview Magazine that he ‘shouldn’t even be here’.
Tyson detailed a historic sexual encounter with a friend and a woman, who both later died of the disease.
AIDS is the most advanced stage of HIV, which damages the cells in the immune system and weakens the body’s ability to fight every day infections and disease.
‘Life isn’t over yet,’ Tyson said days before his loss to Paul. ‘We’re still fighting. We only make it out on the day of our death. There’s no way I should be here talking to you right now. All my friends are dead.
‘They OD’d, they had AIDS. Me and my friend both had sex with this girl at the same time, and they both died of AIDS. I didn’t catch AIDS. Raw, too.’

Tyson has previously admitted to being a sex and drug addict.
He was convicted of raping beauty pageant contestant Desiree Washington in 1992.
Tyson has since argued vehemently that any relations he had with Washington were consensual, but a jury decided otherwise after the 18-year-old’s testimony, which stated that Tyson had raped her in a hotel room in Indianapolis and laughed about it while she was in tears.
The fighter was sentenced to six years in prison, which was later reduced to three for good behavior.
However, Tyson’s 2013 memoir alleged that he didn’t find his time behind bars too trying, with Iron Mike confessing to sexual relations with both visitors seeing him in confinement and a prison drug counselor.
‘I was having so much sex that I was too tired to even to go the gym and work out,’ Tyson wrote. ‘I’d just stay in my cell all day.’
Tyson’s former bodyguard and chauffer also once claimed that the boxer was so scared of killing his opponents in the ring that he often needed to have sex with groupies before fights to take the edge off his rage.
However, the former world heavyweight champion put himself on a sex and cannabis ban in the build up to his fight against Paul as he trained six hours a day in a bid to beat his younger opponent.
Sadly, his sacrifice didn’t pay off as Tyson was beaten by YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul via unanimous decision in his first fight in 19 years.

The eight-round contest, which took place at AT&T Stadium in Texas, was streamed by Netflix with appalling results and was scored 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 in favor of Paul.
Among those watching at home was Joe Rogan, the podcast behemoth and UFC ringside personality, and he offered a withering assessment of the farcical fight.
A hopeful Rogan tweeted beforehand: ‘I’m getting ready to watch this Tyson vs Jake Paul fight like I’m watching someone cast a spell that I hope actually works. And I don’t really believe in magic. But I want to believe.’
But after the fight ended, Rogan simply replied to himself with the words: ‘Magic isn’t real.’
Despite the hype surrounding Tyson’s return, boxing fans and sports stars were left disappointed by just how one-sided the contest was.
The pair have since been suspended on account of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s strict rules.
Paul admitted afterwards that he decided not to knockout out Tyson after it was clear that he refrained from landing a decisive blow.
In the last 10 seconds of the fight, he even stepped back and bowed towards Tyson in a show of respect to sporting royalty – while effectively taking his foot off the gas.

Following the victory, the 27-year-old revealed that it was conscious decision not to inflict any unnecessary pain on the 58-year-old who, in his view ‘didn’t need to be hurt.’
When asked whether he eased up after noticing Tyson tiring, Paul said: ‘Yeah definitely. Definitely a bit.
‘I wanted to give the fans a show but I didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt.’
And speaking to Mail Sport after the fight, Jake’s brother Logan said of Tyson: ‘I think Jake let him live.’
He added: ‘He’s tough, proud of him, weathered the storm against a young brute named Jake Paul.’
The underwhelming spectacle drew a few boos at the finish, while many of the those who watched the clash online were left feeling empty by the sight of the veteran.
Tyson was sluggish and stiff, stumbling around the ring while failing to make an impact outside of the first 30 seconds – especially as his right knee was in a brace.
Some tore into Gen Z YouTuber Paul for taking the cash before knocking around his much older rival with ease, with some branding it ‘elder abuse’.
The 58-year-old appears to have found lasting happiness with his third wife Lakiha ‘Kiki’ Spicer
Among the celebrities and fans worldwide who slammed the bout, MMA star Conor McGregor offered a bleak assessment of the occasion in a now deleted tweet.
‘A 16-minute spar in sparring gloves. F**k off,’ the Irishman said.
