If you can’t beat them, be them.
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly dressed up as Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift for Halloween – after Kelly admitted she’s ‘jealous’ of the attention the couple get at NFL games.
Kelly shared the pictures of the couple’s costume on her Instagram on Friday, with Stafford replicating Kelce’s outfit from the men’s US Open final, which he attended with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes as well as Swift.
‘Six Swifties and a stubborn tache,’ Kelly captioned the picture, referencing how Stafford’s stick-on moustache to replicate Kelce kept peeling off.
The costume choice seemed a strange one give Kelly has been complaining about Travis and Taylor.
‘I feel like there is just this cloud hanging over with this Taylor Swift thing,’ she said on her podcast. ‘Now, I have never once said I didn’t like Taylor Swift, ever.

Kelly Stafford has openly admitted to feeling jealous of the attention Kelce and Swift get
‘But I will say I kind of got tired of the Chiefs’ coverage of it — actually the NFL’s coverage of this budding relationship last year. And, can she do anything about that? No, she can’t.
‘It was a good business decision for the NFL, but I almost felt like it was outshining the games. I think that’s what bothered me.
‘I was a little jealous of the fact that they were getting all this attention and all of a sudden the football game was the sideshow. So yeah, maybe I let jealousy get the best of me.’
The Staffords took their kids to see Swift play in New Orleans, with Kelly saying she enjoyed the show, before returning the jealousy she feels over Travis and Taylor.
‘I had some jealousy issues of the fact that she all of a sudden became the main show in NFL football or their relationship,’ she said.
‘And I watch my husband work his ass off and I watch all these guys who play for the league work their asses off and all of a sudden they’re like the sideshow. So that is where that kind of came from.’
The Rams don’t play the Chiefs, the two-time reigning Super Bowl Champions, this season.
Stafford’s team are 3-4 and last in the NFC West at present, while the Chiefs are unbeaten on 7-0 as they pursue an historic third straight Super Bowl title.
