Tennessee Titans are without quarterback Will Levis for a second straight week.
The decision was confirmed shortly before Sunday’s tough showdown against Detroit Lions.
The Titans have endured a bad season so far and are 1-5, with the Lions 5-1 and looking in imperious form.
Mason Rudolph starts for the Titans for the second straight week with Levis still struggling with an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder.
He first sustained the injury in Week 4, diving for a first down against Miami Dolphins.

Levis then reaggravated in in Week 6 in the loss Indianapolis Colts and missed the Week 7 loss to Buffalo Bills.
Speaking earlier this week, the 25-year-old underlined his frustrations at struggling to overcome the problem.
‘It’s tough,’ he said. ‘I think any teammate that’s ever played with me knows that I’m the type of guy who pushes through and tries to play through everything.
‘But at the end of the day you have to also be smart and take care of essentially what is my career and just make sure I am good next time I go out there and play.’
