This programme will help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop game-changing advanced prototyping and smart manufacturing methods to deliver new technologies.
What’s on offer
Run by Digital Catapult as part of the Smart Nano NI consortium, the programme supports innovation and industrial growth through two strands
- Future Networks Technology Access Programme offering 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) hands‑on support to design, test and improve connected devices using one of Northern Ireland’s largest private 5G networks.
- Integrated Photonics Bootcamp offering hands-on training to help you design and make modern photonics components used in areas like communications, sensors and manufacturing.

The programme is open to Northern Ireland SMEs working with or exploring
- 5G, IoT or digital connectivity
- artificial intelligence or data‑driven manufacturing
- photonics, optics or chip design
- digital manufacturing or automation technologies
